Epsom Hospital is well-used by residents in the south of the borough community. Yet there is no regular bus service to the hospital for patients, their families and friends.
The 467 bus route travels from Hook and Chessington to Epsom, but only goes as far as the Hospital twice a day – early in the morning and mid-afternoon. And, as the 467 is primarily intended for school children, the 467 route only operates hourly during the day during school term times.
With hospital parking always a challenge and our London Mayor encouraging us to leave our cars at home, we need a regular public transport service between Chessington and Epsom Hospital.
Our petition is for the 467 to go to Epsom Hospital every trip and to run more frequently, not just hourly during school term times.
