Kingston Hospital is planning to merge with Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare later this year, subject to NHS England and Secretary of State approval. The merger is the focus of this Open Meeting. Speakers from the NHS organisations will share their plans and ambitions and be ready to answer your questions.
Kingston Hospital believes the merger would benefit patients and make a stronger team. By bringing their services and resources together and working as one team, they say they will be able to focus on keeping people well in their own homes for as long as possible.
We won’t notice any immediate changes, but in time, the merger should lead to better and more joined up healthcare.
Healthwatch Kingston upon Thames is the independent champion for people who use health and social care services. Their purpose is to understand the needs, experiences and concerns of people who use health and social care services and to speak out on their behalf.
