Every three years, Kingston Council’s Health and Wellbeing Board carries out a survey of pharmacy services in the area. The purpose of this survey is to understand what is working well and identify areas that need improvement.
Many Chessington residents collecting prescriptions from Boots at Chessington North have found the shop to be very busy following the closure of Boots on Hook Parade. The survey provides an opportunity to notify the Board (and Kingston Healthwatch) of this issue. CDRA has been in touch with Boots head office about the problems, but the branch is still short of staff and does not have enough computers to prescribe the extra 1,000 prescriptions that they now have to deal with.
Please encourage your friends, family and colleagues living in Kingston to complete the survey too. It only takes approx. 5 minutes. The deadline to complete the survey is 10th November 2024.
