It may be only week two of the school holidays, but are you already running out of ideas for free and low-cost family activities locally? Fear not, there’s lots on offer in and around Chessington.

Fulham FC Foundation Kicks

Weekly from 1st August, Chessington Sports Centre, Garrison Lane, Chessington KT9 2JS.

Hey kickers and dribblers, here’s a treat for you! Free football sessions, competitions, qualifications, training, education and targeted support for young people aged 11-18 years old. Sessions every Thursday 5.00pm-6.15pm.

Our friends at Yorda tell us that there are still spaces available for their summer play sessions. These sessions are exclusively for any family who has a young person with special educational needs and learning disabilities (SEND).

Calling all budding chefs and kitchen explorers! Gather your little ones (aged 2 and up) and their trusty sous-chefs (that’s you, parents and carers!) for a family cookery session. Suggested donation £4 per family. Booking essential.
