Ski Sunday Surbiton

Experience Surbiton’s most eccentric annual tradition with the return of Surbiton Ski Sunday on Sunday 11 October 2026. From 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, St Mark’s Hill transforms into a makeshift ski run where participants over 18 can register on the day to slide on blocks of ice or race down the incline in a bathtub luge. Created by The Community Brain to democratise winter sports, this free community event provides safety gear but invites attendees to wear their finest costumes. The fun transitions at 1:15 pm to Claremont Gardens for The King’s Soup—a mass-participation vegetarian meal celebrating local unity.
